The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) recognized Case IH for outstanding agricultural innovation across product lines with AE50 awards for the Steiger 715 Quadtrac, Model Year 2024 Steiger 425-645 tractors, AFS Furrow Command for Precision Disk Drills and toolbar lift system for 2120 Early Riser rigid trailing split-row planter.The awards highlight the continuous focus on technological innovation at Case IH designed to improve and enhance farmers\u2019 efficiency across the globe. <\/p>\n

Steiger 715 Quadtrac <\/p>\n
Case IH\u2019s largest and most powerful tractor ever produced, the Steiger 715 Quadtrac delivers built-in power and speed to cover more ground in less time. The purpose built 715 horsepower-rated, 778 peak horsepower FPT Cursor 16L engine sets a new bar for performance in the most demanding applications<\/p>\n
This newest Steiger model introduces the new heavy-duty Quadtrac undercarriage that offers increased traction to keep up with the engine\u2019s horsepower. A heavier duty driveline efficiently transfers the increased horsepower to the ground and a faster 26.5 mph road speed allows for less time on the road and more time in the field. Plus, with a new hood design, higher output LED lighting and a larger 520 gallon fuel tank the sight lines are a thing of beauty.<\/p>\n
Steiger Model Year 2024 Line-Up <\/p>\n
With a peak horsepower range of 467 to 699, the new Steiger tractors boast updated FPT 13L Cursor engines with an updated fuel system, numerous serviceability improvements and a simplified exhaust system providing improved visibility from the cab.\u00a0 Steiger 425, 475 and 525 horsepower models feature improved fuel economy as well as 35% faster engine response due to the addition of a new electronically variable geometry turbocharger.<\/p>\n
The new models also include numerous operator focused cab improvements such as an updated cab top with integrated grab rails, new overhead console, improved monitor mounting and an optional premium sound system.\u00a0 Higher output LED light options have also been added for improved visibility during late nights in the field. <\/p>\n
AFS Furrow Command <\/p>\n
Introduced in 2023, Case IH\u2019s AFS Furrow Command improves overall seed and fertilizer depth control by automatically adjusting the hydraulic pressure independently for each frame section. Available on the Precision Disk 550T, 550 and 500DS models, AFS Furrow Command helps make informed decisions on setting downforce via gauge wheel sensors that provide real-time in-cab feedback. <\/p>\n
Not only does this automatic control greatly reduce wear and tear on equipment through the minimization of unnecessary and excessive downforce in conditions that don\u2019t require maximum hydraulic pressure, but also greatly improves operational flexibility through automation, no longer requiring manual adjustments from an operator in the cab. <\/p>\n
Toolbar Lift System for 2120 Early Riser Rigid Trailing Planter<\/p>\n
The toolbar lift system consists of two unique parallel link assemblies actuated by two hydraulic cylinders, supporting two storage positions, a plant position, and a new transport position that provides industry leading ground clearance in transport for a rigid trailing split-row planter, with a stable ride provided by the positive tongue weight.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Additional benefits include unique \u2018eye level\u2019 access for maintenance and adjustments of planter row units versus traditional \u2018ground level\u2019 service.\u00a0 Radial tires offer increased flotation over traditional tire technology. Located to avoid running over already planted rows, farmers can anticipate increased yield potential versus competitive offerings. <\/p>\n
Coupled with 2000 series Early Riser technology, the toolbar lift system creates the most productive and accurate rigid trailing split-row planter available.<\/p>\n
